SIBUR is Russia's only producer of styrene-butadiene thermoplastic elastomers (TEPs), which are used in road construction, roofing materials, mastics, adhesives and sealants. The company produces 35,000 tonnes of TEPs, and by 2012 plans to increase production to 85,000 tonnes. It is planned to come into operation in 2012.
