«POLIEF» OJSC (Blagoveshchensk, Bashkortostan) is Russia's largest manufacturer of polyethylene terephthalate, and the country’s only producer of terephthalic acid. SIBUR controls just over 50% of «Otechestvennie polimeriy» («Domestic polymers»), which, in turn, is one of the largest shareholders in «POLIEF» OJSC.
