SIBUR-Trans JSC provides transportation both internally, as well as for export to neighbouring and distant countries. Among its clients and partners are SIBUR Holding CJSC, Russian Railways JSC, Freight One JSC, NPK JSC, SG-Trans JSC, Spetstransgarant LLC and others. The enterprise is part of the non-profit partnership the Council of Participants in the Market of Operators of Railway Rolling Stock, an organization whose purpose is the consolidation of private operators to strengthen the role of market participants in the reform of the industry.

Currently SIBUR-Trans already has under its management railway infrastructure in Tomsk, Perm, Novokuibyshevsk, Togliatti, Pyt-Yahe, Tula, Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod and Dzerzhinsk, and it has a paint shop in Tchaikovsky (Perm region). Up until the first half of 2010, the company’s own fleet totalled over 4050 units of rolling stock, including more than 3100 tanks for the transportation of LPG and around 750 petroleum tanks. In August 2010 it had a total of over 12,000 cars of various types.

In the period 2007–2009, traffic volume grew by 9% reaching a level in 2009 of 7.5 million tonnes, including more than 3.4 million tonnes of LPG and over 1.2 million tonnes of NGL.
