Dmitry Konov was born on September 2 1970 in Moscow.

In 1994 he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and then worked at AKB International Finance Company.

From 1998 to 2000 he worked in the treasury of YUKOS Oil Company OJSC.

In 2001 he received an MBA from the IMD Business School.

From 2001 to January 2004 he successively held the positions of Vice President — Head of Investment and Banking Department, and Managing Director of the Corporate Finance Directorate in AKB Trust and Investment Bank.

In February 2004 Mr. Konov joined SIBUR and successively held the posts of Adviser to the President, Vice President for Strategy and Analysis, Vice President for Corporate Policy and Strategy, Senior Vice President for Corporate Policy and Strategy, Senior Vice President for Business Development — Head of Plastics & Organic Synthesis Business Unit.

Since November 2006 Mr. Konov has been president of SIBUR.

In August 2011 he became CEO of SIBUR
